Hello everyone!!

I've had an overwhelming response to my offer of a free download of Costa Rica- I do apologize to all those who haven't received an email back quite yet, its been a bit crazy over here!  I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who wrote me, and everyone who supported this song and called in to request it on The Peak and Shore104!   Costa Rica was at # 1 on The Peak in Vancouver last week! 

The song Costa Rica will be available for download on iTunes in the next few weeks, keep an eye out for it!

I'll be coming to Vancouver on Feb 10th, to perform at the North Vancouver Winter2010 Torch Relay at 8 AM.  If you can make it out, we'd love to see as many of you as possible out there!! Its going to be mighty early, but its a free show, and I'm sure we'll wake you up! We'll be dropping by The Peak that afternoon, as well as Shore 104 to hang out and play a few live songs on the air.

Man....what a show last night, those Armchair Cynics really make it happen big time... Sugar was packed to the nines for this show!! I played early at 9:50 to a full house, and I was so stoked to be up there in front of such awesome people. I had the Champa burning, and even got the crowd singing...

Acres of Lions lit up the stage with their massive sound, Jeremy Baker from the Zone@91.3 FM, Drew Bennett from the band Everyone Everywhere, and myself jumped on stage and joined Acres for a mad throwdown...it was a proper night!!

And it all ended well with a blinding neon lit set by Armchair Cynics, who released their newest album...killer show boys!

Thanks to the Zone for making this show happen, I really appreciate the love!

Its been a while since I've written here...  I've been writing a ton and I got so many of new songs in demo mode...Hopefully get to show those off soon!

I'll be playing live November 14th with the Armchair Cynics and Acres of Lions at Sugar for the Cynic's CD release party. That'll be an acoustic set at the beginning of the night, come down early to catch it.  Then, November 16th at Felicitas with Maurice for FREE!  Come check it out! 

Anyway, hope everyone is doing good out there!

Well...I'm home!

I dropped the ball on keeping this thing updated but there was so much happening all the time, I couldn't keep up!!

In a nutshell...Lethbridge was like Vegas, Medicine Hat was a beautiful theatre with the most respectful and attentive people I've ever played to, Bonnyville was an arena with massive sound filled with kids who wanted to party and play soccer late into the night....

The drive home was epic...complete with Elk crossing the mountains in Glacier National Park...a wolf sanctuary in Golden and awesome people at Taps!

The last date in Cumberland was a sweet one for me, I had the priviledge of playing alongside some of my favourite bands...The Raccoons, Jets Overhead, Delhi 2 Dublin...and Sam Roberts Band...and if that's not enough, I sold out of albums on this tour, we had our very first t-shirt made and I made a ton of friends...

Thanks to everyone who came out to the shows, everyone who made it happen, and everyone who supported and helped me out!

I'm going out on the road again, this time its to Alberta with Bedoin Soundclash! We'll be hitting Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, and Bonnyville followed by my favourite party of the summer: The Big Time Out in Cumberland, BC!

Tour Blog Day 1:

I made it through the Crow's nest before dark, and I'm in Osoyoos now.  Taking a quick break, and heading back out. Probably gonna drive until midnight, maybe later... and crash in a parking lot in Creston.

We're finally home from tour!  The van (Martha) broke down on the Sea to Sky highway on our way back from Whistler....we all hitched a ride to Vancouver, but our gear is still stranded... classic road story.

Maurice and myself are getting ready to play on the 3rd of August, it should be a great time on the lawns of St- Ann's Academy...it is a FREE SHOW, so come on down if you're in Victoria, and hang out with us!
